What family doesn’t love good BBQ? My kids rave about these BBQ pork chops or anything with BBQ sauce for that matter. This super easy slow cooker dinner will be a hit with your family too!
· Slow Cooker Honey BBQ Chicken/Brown Rice/ Green Beans with Onions
1 lb. of center cut pork chops
1 pack of dry onion soup mix
1 18 oz. bottle of honey BBQ sauce
4 cups of Instant Brown Rice
1 16 oz. bag of frozen green beans (whole, cut, or French)
1 small onion or 1 cup of leftover frozen peppers
McCormick’s Montreal Steak Seasoning
Rinse and pat your pork chops dry. Season them with seasoning salt and black pepper on both sides and place them into your slow cooker. Add a pack of dry onion soup mix and a bottle of your favorite honey bbq sauce. Set your slow cooker for 6 hours on low.
Slice your small onion into thin strips or use a cup of frozen pepper strips. Place the onion or peppers into a medium sauce pan with 1 cup of water. Set your burner to high. As your onions or peppers start to boil, add your frozen green beans. Season with seasoning salt and pepper to taste. Turn the burner down to a medium heat and cover. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add four cups of hot water to another medium sauce pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in 4 cups of instant brown rice.
